Ilaria I2024-09-20The Sound of Africa Laba Africa has given us sensational experiences. It made us taste the essence of Uganda. Laba Africa, as a local agency, really knows how to strike at the heart of tourists passionate about deep knowledge of the Ugandan people, their customs and traditions. Samweli arranged for us to go on a couple's tour in a van driven by Kennie. The van tour, you know, is a “sports tour”: get ready for the “African massage”. The roads in Uganda are mostly paved, but in some places there is a lot of hopping. I would suggest that travelers consult carefully with tour organizers regarding the choice of arrival airport based on the chosen activities. We, for example, landed in Entebbe for the gorilla trek: this meant about 10 hours by car to reach the destination. If you land in Kigali (Rwanda), as rightly suggested by Samweli, the driving hours are reduced to 2.5-3 h. Kennie is an Expert driver, and as a native, he has passed on much of his culture (from food , history, habits to lifestyle in general). Also Kennie has always been attentive to our needs, discreet, helpful and precise. It was a real pleasure to have shared this experience with him. As Trips lovers, we feel we support local agencies like Laba Africa in every way. This agency is made up of people who love their land and make this love a job. Gorilla trekking and staying at Habuaro Island in Lake Bunyioni (proposed by Samweli) are two experiences that I will never forget for the strong emotional involvement aroused and for making our soul strings vibrate: this is the real sound of Africa. Thank you Samweli, thank you Kennie, thank you LABA Africa.Morgane L2024-09-16Superb 3-week road trip with Laba Africa We spent three weeks travelling the roads of Uganda in an SUV rented from Laba Africa. Many thanks to Ivan and Sammy who helped us organize the road trip, and who remained available until the end of the trip. Kindness and great responsiveness that made all the difference:) An unforgettable journey that makes you want to leave quickly!Loulou2024-09-05PERFECT! We rented a 4x4 with Laba Africa. Very good organization, easy contact and car in good condition! Everything went very well and we were able to travel all over the country, independently, thanks to Laba Africa!! We recommend, thank you! 🙂Tomáš M2024-09-0114 days Safari trip in Uganda We took a 14 day road trip through the national parks in Uganda with Laba Africa. It was an amazing experience. The best vacation. I got in touch with them from my friend who volunteered in Uganda for 2 months. Samuel, with whom we arranged the trip, willingly answered all questions and adapted the trip to our non-standard requirements. All communication was fast and trouble-free. Our guide Brian was absolutely brilliant. He took excellent care of us the whole time, arranged everything and helped with everything. He tried to make our experience perfect and he succeeded! He tried very hard for us to see the lion up close, which was our big wish and he succeeded. We saw all of Africa's big five, went chimpanzee trekking (an amazing experience) and the highlight was gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. I would also like to highlight the great accommodation we had along the way, the level of service there was really high. Fantastic holiday, when I return to Uganda, I will definitely stay with Laba Africa again. I can definitely recommend it!Jessica C2024-08-03Unforgettable experience! Many thanks to LabaAfrica for allowing us to live a dream. We were 7 days in Uganda accompanied by our guide Robert. When we arrived unfortunately the airline had lost our luggage and the agency organized as well as possible so that we could have them quickly in the following days without interrupting our journey. We were able to do everything that was planned and especially the trek with the gorillas! We also asked Samuel at the last minute if it was possible to visit a school and we were able to do it with the little time we had. Robert was so nice and so funny it was a pleasure to share this week with him. I recommend with my eyes closed. Thank you 🙏🏼Shafiki S2024-08-02Experience combined with trustworthy From communication to commitment and best accomodation options, laba provided the best. When in contact with Samuel he was open enough to tell me that for him to provide the best accomodation, we needed to move fast with hotel reservations and it paid off.I without a doubt would recommend laba to whoever is looking for a better safari experience. We had a very experienced tour guide who did the best to make sure that we atleast get to see the lions and leopard, Always on phone with his fellow guides asking for where to find them. So I would advise whoever wants to do tours in uganda to contact them and book in advance for the best accomodation.Alice C2024-07-29Our amazing Tanzania family trip We took our whole family on this 8-day safari in Tanzania, six adults and five children. We visited amazing areas via long game drives, in cruise vans that have pop-up tops that you can stand up in, and stayed in rustic lodges deep into the wild. We started at Manyara Lake and laughed at the antics of the baboon families. The next day we saw an unmatched wealth of animals in the Ngorongoro Crater, then spent three full days exploring the enormous and hauntingly beautiful wilderness of the Serengeti Plain. There we saw incredibly vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, moving north together in huge groups devouring the grasses. We also saw ostriches, elephants, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs--among others! Our guides were great spotters. They also identified birds, turtles and plants for us. On our way out to the wild, and back at the end, we admired the towns we passed through. We talked with our two wonderful driver-guides, Valerian and Kelvin, and fell in love with the country itself. We enjoyed the hospitality and the delicious food at each lodge we stayed at. We reveled in the kindness of the people we met. We had an unforgettable trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives.Suzanne2024-07-29An adventurous, unique and safe self-drive safari with Laba Africa through East Africa My boyfriend and I have rented a Landcruiser with roof tent through Laba Africa for 6 weeks early this year. It exceeded all our expectations! The car was in perfect condition, and also the roof tent was very spacious with a comfortable mattress. The car was also equipped with everything you need: seats, table, lighting, real wine glasses, plates, cutlery, etc. The team at Laba Africa is available 24/7, super friendly and responds very quickly. They have a large network in East Africa, if you need help. They also gave us tips for the route of the trip, which was quite convenient! They are also flexible regarding the location of pick-up and drop-off. Finally, they arranged our permits for the gorilla and chimp trekking in Uganda. We doubted at first whether it would be good to do a self-drive safari through East Africa, but with the help of Laba Africa this is a great, unique and safe adventure! Definitely do, it was our dream trip!Tereza2024-07-26Wonderful 5 days tour in Uganda We chose Laba Africa for our dream vacation based on a recommendation from friends who were very satisfied with their services. The agency customized a tour to fit our needs and preferences, and all communication was prompt. Samuel was extremely patient and responsive, answering any questions we had at any time. Their helpfulness and flexibility were amazing. Despite our last-minute decision, Samuel organized the entire trip within few days. Our guide, Alonso, picked us up at the airport, and from the first moment, we knew we were in good hands. Alonso was funny, experienced, and knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions. He is also a very skilled driver, which is crucial for navigating the local roads. He always ensured we were happy and lacked nothing, taking us to truly special places. Alonso's enthusiasm for his job and his love for his culture and nature were inspiring, making us even more excited to discover the wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The main highlights of our trip were seeing the gorillas in Bwindi Forest and going on a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. However, we also made many other stops and were able to experience the local community, wonderful lakes, and more. Every day, Laba Africa exceeded our expectations, and Alonso seemed to fulfill our every wish. When we plan our next trip, we will definitely turn to Samuel and Laba Africa. Uganda can be unpredictable, so if you are unsure whom to trust with your tour, definitely go with Laba Africa. We vouch for them.CHRISTOPHE D2024-07-20EXPTIONARY We left as a family with our "grandchildren" totaling 8 people. We dreamed of a total change of scenery and an immersion on African soil that we discovered. LABA AFRICA far exceeded our expectations by fulfilling our dreams in perfect safety while discovering. English speaking guides Francis and Alonzo with the support of perfectly French speaking Cynthia allowed us every day to discover the most welcoming and fantastic country we have ever visited: Uganda. This review is unanimous for our family. Every day, discoveries have been stronger, between visiting the forest with primates, visiting the savannah with lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes etc... visiting the impenetrable forest of gorillas with the help of local reinforcements, descending the NILE in a small boat, discovering the falls, overnight stays in magical places surrounded by the most kind people. Every day the emotional load is fuelled by the EXPTIONARY professionalism of Francis, Alonzo and Cynthia who allowed us to visit schools, allowing access to the daily life of the population. An absolutely unique and exceptional experience thanks to the entire LABA AFRICA team. Many thanks from the bottom of our hearts to Samuel and Morgana. A huge heartfelt thank you to our friends Francis, Alonso and Cynthia. We have planned our return next year with these great teams.
