Day One: Arrival

You will be met and transferred to your accommodation after arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). You will be taken to Moshi/Arusha for overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

8 Days classic Safari to TanzaniaIt takes about 3-4 hours to get to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is home to an unusually large elephant population. The park’s majestic baobab trees are an intriguing feature. Animals congregate along the Tarangire River, which serves as the area’s only permanent water supply. There is a wide range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. Take a game drive in the afternoon. Overnight in Tarangire.

Day 3 and Day 4: Serengeti National Park.

On day 3 of this 8 Days classic Safari to Tanzania, have an early breakfast and begin your four-hour drive to one of Africa’s most famous game parks, the Serengeti. During the migration, the Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeest, as well as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and a variety of other small predators. Your guide will select the best wildlife viewing locations for the season. Spend time at the hippo pool, watching these massive animals laze around in the cool water alongside the crocodiles, or marvel at the scale of the great wildebeest migration.

8 Days classic Safari to TanzaniaThe journey from wide open plains to kopjes, volcanic rocky outcrops that provide protection and shelter to a diverse range of animals. This varied and interesting landscape will provide you with the best in-game viewing experience. Overnight in Serengeti.

Days 5 & 6 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater

An early start in the Serengeti to look for big cats before they retreat from the hot sun during the day. After several hours of game, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will spend the night. The Ngorongoro caldera is the world’s largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder, measuring approximately 20 kilometers across and 600 meters deep.

8 Days classic Safari to TanzaniaThe Ngorongoro Crater is unique in that almost all of the wildlife lives within the crater walls, allowing you to easily locate the game. You’ll want to get up early to make the most of your day exploring the crater, where you can see rhinos in particular, as well as the pride of lions and other predators like the cheetah. Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

This morning, you will drive for about an hour to Lake Manyara. This park, described as one of Tanzania’s hidden gems, is famous for its tree climbing lions and large herds of elephants that are not afraid to approach the vehicle. After lunch, you will drive back to Moshi / Arusha for about 2-3 hours. Moshi/Arusha for overnight.

Day 8 - Departure

Today you will be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in time for your flight. This will mark the end of your 8 Days classic Safari to Tanzania.
