Terms and Conditions

Please take a moment to review the terms and conditions outlined by Laba Africa Expeditions. By confirming a safari with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth below. Should you have any inquiries, feel free to contact us.

BOOKINGS

1.1 Laba Africa Expeditions facilitates transportation, accommodation bookings, restaurant meals, excursions, and other services in collaboration with independent suppliers.

1.2 All information provided in client itineraries is presented to the best of Laba Africa Expeditions’ knowledge and based on the latest available information. We cannot be held responsible for any alterations made by third parties or for any obvious typographical errors.

1.3 To secure flights , gorilla and chimpanzee permits, we require your full names as they appear in your passport, your nationality, and passport number.

1.4 Prior to confirming a safari, clients must communicate any preferences and special requests, such as medical requirements, dietary needs, disabilities, or other specific needs. We will endeavor to accommodate such requests if feasible.

1.5 All packages are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed. Due to limited capacity at many lodges and hotels, it is advisable to make reservations well in advance.

1.6 Any amendments to reservations will be accommodated where possible, with adjustments subject to an amendment fee reflecting actual costs.

1.7 Laba Africa Expeditions reserves the right to modify the tour schedule, transportation, accommodation, and services outlined in the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be promptly informed of any changes.

PRICES

2.1 Prices quoted for safaris include specified services unless otherwise stated, such as accommodation, meals, sightseeing, park entrance fees, and transportation.

2.2 Not included in the prices are international and domestic airfares, visa and passport fees, meals not specified, beverages other than provided water, tips, laundry, travel insurance, and personal expenses.

2.3 Prices are subject to change without notice until confirmed in writing.

2.4 Adjustments to prices may occur due to exchange rate fluctuations or increased costs. Every effort will be made to minimize such increases.

EXECUTION OF THE TOUR

3.1 While we strive to facilitate wildlife viewing, we cannot guarantee sightings. Clients are advised to exercise caution and adhere to instructions provided by guides or wildlife rangers.

3.3 Accommodation typically consists of twin- or double-bedded rooms with private facilities where possible. Single rooms may be available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.

3.4 Laba Africa Expeditions reserves the right to substitute accommodations of equivalent or superior quality if necessary.

3.5 Transportation modes are determined by group size and itinerary. While we ensure vehicles are in good condition, we cannot be held liable for delays or damages due to road conditions.

3.6 Our experienced English-speaking driver/guides are solely authorized to operate our vehicles, with their decisions regarding routes deemed final.

3.7 We reserve the right to alter routes, cancel tours, or modify services due to unforeseen circumstances, with alternative arrangements made as feasible.

3.8 Subcontractors may be employed to provide services as needed.

3.9 We retain the right to refuse participation to individuals whose behavior poses risks to themselves, others, or the environment, with no refunds provided.

PAYMENT

4.1 Tours are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit for the basic program rate. Full payment for gorilla permits is required upfront.

4.2 Remaining balances are due at least 42 days prior to the safari, unless otherwise agreed.

4.3 Bookings made within 42 days of arrival require full payment upon confirmation.

4.4 Failure to make timely payments may result in booking cancellation.

4.5 Payment methods include VISA credit card, bank transfer, or cash, with credit card transactions incurring a 5% service charge. Credit card payments must be made at least two months before the safari. Traveler’s checks are not accepted.

4.6 Clients are responsible for any international transaction fees.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

5.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and are effective upon receipt by Laba Africa Expeditions.

5.2 Cancellation charges apply based on the timing of the request, with gorilla permits and air tickets being non-refundable.

COMPLAINTS

6.1 We aim to exceed expectations in all aspects of our tours. Feedback is welcomed to enhance our services.

6.2 Complaints should be promptly reported to our representative and the relevant service provider for resolution. Any unresolved issues should be submitted in writing within 30 days of tour completion.

6.3 We cannot address complaints not reported in accordance with this procedure.

LIABILITY

7.1 While we strive for efficient service delivery, Laba Africa Expeditions is not directly responsible for services provided by independent suppliers.

7.2 We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury, whether to persons or property.

7.4 We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to flight cancellations, natural disasters, or political unrest.

7.5 Clients are responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary documentation for travel.

7.6 Clients are advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

7.7 Our liability for passengers in our vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the incident occurs.
