January, 2024.Go Uganda - Go Laba - a life experience Top credits to Sammy at Laba for being flexible, and competent, and for making a fantastic program for our nine day family tour from Kampala over Siwa to Murchison Falls, Kidepo, Karamoja and Moroto, over Sipi Falls and back to Kampala. Everything went smooth and we met great, friendly people and explored so different parts of Uganda. Great thanks also to our fantastic guide and driver Kennie, you made our tour unforgettable with your top reliability and driving skills, great knowledge about your country’s history, regions, animals and people, and last but not least your empathy and good sense of humour. If you haven’t been there, go to Uganda, go with Laba and you’re lucky if you get Kennie at the steering wheel:-)

January, 2024.Ugandan safari with gorillas, chimpanzees and rhinos I have had the pleasure of using Laba Africa on two different trips - one with my partner in Nov.2023 and again with my friend in Jan.2024. I am based in Kampala and I have thoroughly enjoyed the flexibility, kindness, perfect service and fast communication through Laba. I have been lucky enough to have had both Robert and Abia as guides, and I cannot give them high enough praise. Both are extremely professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind and their company made the trips so much better. The accommodation was beautiful and food great. The safari jeep is spacious and perfect for the bumpy and beautiful Ugandan landscape. Can highly recommend using Sammy, Ivan, Robert, Abia and the rest of the Laba Africa team for your next trip to East Africa!
Sam D5. January, 2024.Car rental for self drive in Kenya We contacted Laba Africa to arrange a 4WD for our selfdrive holiday through Kenya. They arranged a fully equipped Toyota Landcruiser with rooftop tent for us that got delivered to our hotel in Nairobi. The car was in great shape and proved to be the perfect vehicle to accommodate our trip through Kenya’s national parks. Communications with Samuel, before and during the trip, went smoothly and fast. The agreed upon times for delivering the car in Nairobi and picking up the car in Mombasa were respected to the minute, which was a big help for our planning of the day. I would definitely recommend them!

Bernhard19. December, 2023.Discovering Uganda as a self-driver - an amazing experience We rented the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with a rooftent. We drove through the beautiful Uganda for more then two weeks and visited Bwindi, QENP, Kibale, Murchison Falls, Kidepo NP,…The car worked well, the tent was easy to build up and the equipment was clean. We received good support by the team in advance and even during our journey as self-driver they assisted us in every matter as needed.
Michele S16. December, 2023.Meeting gorillas! Fantastic experience! It was the most amazing experience! We went with friends to try to meet the gorillas in Mwindi jungle. Meeting gorillas was something I desired for so many years, since a friend told me about it more than 15 years ago. Therefore, there was the risk linked to high expectations. Instead I have to say that the trip exceeded my expectations! LABA Africa organized it perfectly and we enjoyed every moment of it, not only the time spent with a family of 14 gorillas (including the silver back, females with babies, young and adult males). Also the drive from Kigali to Mwindi was amazing journey through breathtaking landscapes. Our guide, Alonso, made sure that we had the best from the experience and helped us to take every opportunity along the way. Finally, the lodge was very nice, with an incredible view on the jungle and lovely staff.

Joakim N3. December, 2023.Visit Uganda with the help of an eminent organizer. Uganda is a very underrated destination I Went on an 11 days long solo trip for Birding and Will Life Safari. My eminent guide was Abia Atukwatse. Highly Skilled and educated turist guide. She rose my experiense by most certainly 100 %. Laba also provided a good car, 4 wheel drive, which was superb during this rainyseason. I were presenten priceworthy ackommodation. They were able to alter and add things about the trip with very short notice without me feeling uncomfortable about making up my mind in a late stage. Laba kept a close contact with us during the trip to make sure We were right on track. My highest recomendations to this operator.

Great service and driving from our personal guide along with detailed knowledge of all the areas we visited. We would definitely recommend booking with Laba and look forward to visiting again in the near future ☀️
Margitta W24. November, 2023.Rundreise mit Tiertrekking Ich hatte nach einer Gorillatour gesucht und LABA Africa gefunden. Der Fahrer holte uns pünktlich in Entebbe ab. Nachdem noch ein Reifen gewechselt werden müsste, ging die Fahrt nach Norden los. Der Weg war weit. 8 Std. wie in einem Langstreckeneconomy Flug mit vielen Turbulenzen 😉; die Straßen sind leider schlecht. Die 7 Tagestour war schön zusammengestellt, allerdings haben wir 4 volle Tage im Auto gesessen. Fand ich stressig. Die ausgewählten Lodges waren gut, wenn auch nicht in einer das Warmwasser in der Dusche funktionierte oder man seine Rechnung mit Karte bezahlen konnte (Drinks, Laundry....). Überall ist Cash nachgefragt, was man aber mangels ATM unterwegs auch nicht überall bekam. Hätte man einfach vorher wissen mussen!, dann kann man sich mit USD bzw Shillings eindecken. Unser Fahrer Robert war sehr wortkarg und hat uns sein Land nicht näher gebracht. Schade eigentlich. Insofern alles in allem nur 4 Sterne.
