This 4 Day Gorilla trekking Lake Mburo and Lake Bunyonyi Safari will take you to some of the most exotic wild places Uganda has to offer.  On arrival at the Airport we shall transfer to Lake Mburo National park for game viewing and head to Bwindi. Enjoy the gorilla trekking experience and visit to Lake Bunyonyi (Lake of Many small birds) for relaxation and sightseeing. you’ll be dropped off at Entebbe Airport for your flight home after the this awesome gorilla safari.

Day 1  Entebbe airport to Lake Mburo National Park

 Our guide will meet you at the airport , brief you about the safari as you start the road trip to Lake Mburo NP. Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, you will reach Mburo either early in the afternoon depending on when you left the airport. Check into your accommodation where you will have dinner and an sleep.

Lake Mburo National Park is located in the middle between Entebbe and Bwindi impenetrable national park and therefore its a perfect place for breaking the long journey.  It is the smallest national park in Uganda buts should not be underestimated because its is home to more than 349 bird species and wildlife is seen here such as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, waterbucks, hippo, hyenas leopards etc.

Day 2: Game drive in Lake Mburo National Park and transfer to Bwindi forest

After breakfast , you will go for a fun filled game drive. You will have a chance to see eland antelopes, zebras in big numbers, topis, impalas, buffaloes and other savannah animals and after the game drive you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable NP.
Bwindi forest National Park is home to a big number of gorillas.

Day 3 : Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

At 7:30 am you will meet your ranger guide for briefing before entering the jungle. This forest is beautiful and promise a rewarding trek.  The a real dark forested landscape and mood that is incredibly dense . Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome and a dream for most travellers going to Africa

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi after. Lake Bunyonyi means a “lake of many small birds” it is characterised by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200 – 2,478 It also the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most look unreal according to many travelers.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe Airport.

This is the last day of your 4 Day Gorilla trekking Lake Mburo and Lake Bunyonyi Safari. Enjoy the last sunrise in Uganda with your spectacular views of the Bunyonyi’s 29 islands and after start your journey to Entebbe Airport arriving late in the afternoon/evening for drop off at the airport. This will mark the end of your 4 Day Gorilla trekking Lake Mburo and Lake Bunyonyi Safari.
