Day 1: Welcome to Congo (RDC)
You should arrive in the morning hours either from Goma or from Kigali ( Rwanda) . We can pick you up from Kigali if you choose to arrive in Rwanda since there are more flights to Kigali and Goma is just 4 hours away! We can arrange this transfer at an extra cost

At the Rwanda Congo grande barrier boarder is where you you shall register for the 4 Days Congo Gorillas and Nyiragongo Hike. After that we shall transfer you to Parc National des Virunga

Day 2: Congo Mountain Gorilla Trekking

Today is a special day! Gorilla trekking in Congo, Uganda and Rwanda is of the experiences that many people dream of doing once in a life time. You will be briefed on how to behave with the gorillas before heading in the jungles.

Day 3: Congo tour to Nyiragongo Volcano 

Drive to Kabati through the lava fields. You will climb, during 3-5 hours, the Congo tour to  Nyiragongo volcano (3,470m . Porters are available to assist you on this difficult hike to the top. of course for a little fee.

The experience here is like no other!

Day 4: Nyiragongo Volcano

Today you will enjoy the volcanic views of the the twin volcanoes of Karisimbi and Visoke, and after taking a hearty breakfast in the frigid air, you will walk down the volcano amidst beautiful and highly diversified volcanic flora and faune . Start descending to the base and later be transferred to Goma.

It is possible to transfer you back to Kigali (Rwanda)  for your flight back home. Please speak to our tour expert if you need this transfer included. This will mark the end of your 4 Days Congo Gorillas and Nyiragongo Hike tour
