7 Days Kenya safari Overview

This 7 Days Kenya Safari is a one week safari that combines the best aspects of a great custom made safari for a family or an incentive group with a range of interest in wildlife, scenery and culture of different communities. This safari takes you to Tsavo East and West National Parks the largest parks in Kenya, Amboseli National Park famous for its free ranging elephants at the backdrop of Kilimanjaro, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara National reserve.

7 Days Kenya safari itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Masai Mara

You will be met on arrival at the Airport or at your Nairobi Hotel by our tour leader for your safari briefing followed by a drive to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Masai Mara Lodge. Relax in the afternoon enjoying the camp facilities before proceeding on an afternoon game at 1600hrs in the reserve in search of game. Return to the lodge at 1830 hrs for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Spend the day on game drive with morning and afternoon game drive with breakfast and lunch at the lodge. It would be ideal for you to carry picnic breakfast or lunch or both so as to maximize your time on game drives rather than returning back for meals. The landscape here is scenic Savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Dinner and overnight your lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Early breakfast thereafter followed by check out for another long and easy drive out of Masai Mara National reserve for the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Camp. Relax after lunch getting ready for an evening game drive. Leave the camp at 1600hrs returning at 1830hrs for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park

Have an early breakfast and leave the camp at 0630 hrs with your luggage and enjoy an early morning game drive as you leave lake Nakuru. Drive to Amboseli arriving at the Safari Camp for late lunch. Relax for a while in the lodge before proceeding for a late afternoon game drive starting from 1600 hrs till 1830 hrs after which you return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park Exploration

Enjoy a full day game drive in this beautiful park with packed picnic lunch served at the Observation Hill offering great views of the entire park and of course spectacular views of Kilimanjaro. Set at the bottom of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak the Amboseli National Park is normally referred to as the “Kilimanjaro’s Royal Court” Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak providing a beautiful back drop.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park

Rise up early to enjoy an early morning game drive before returning back to the lodge in time for breakfast followed by check out. Depart Amboseli driving via the Shetani lava flow to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch at Lodge. Relax in the afternoon before the afternoon game drive. Leave the lodge at 1600hrs for an afternoon game drives in search of game till 1830hrs. Dinner and overnight Lodge.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park – Nairobi

This is the last day of your 7 Days Kenya safari. Early morning game drive returning back to the lodge in time for breakfast. 1000 hrs depart for the drive to Nairobi arriving early in the afternoon with a drop off at the Airport to catch your home flight bringing to an end what we believe is a safari of your lifetime. This marks the end of your 7 Days Kenya safari.
