Getting to Sipi Falls
Sipi Falls can be accessed by road and from Kampala, it will take about 4 to 5 hours to get there. The falls are located on the slopes of Mount Elgon in Kapchorwa district, about 227 kilometers from Uganda’s capital – Kampala. The drive will take you through the eastern region of Uganda starting with the adventure capital of the country – Jinja Drive to Eastern, then past Mbale town on your way to Kapchorwa, the site of the stunning Sipi Falls. En route the trip, the gorgeous green foliage and boulders along the slopes of Mountain Elgon will be visible.
