After a few days of organising our trip, every thing turned out perfectly. Indeed just... read more like the saying goes, unplanned trips turn out the best, our trip didn't turn out any different.
so after spontaneously confirming our safari over the weekend, we hit the road on Tuesday and headed to Western Uganda; first to Fort Portal, then to Kasese, Queen Elizabeth National Park exactly. Sam our guide for the trip was so organised and readily picked us up at the agreed time. He had taken time to book our entire safari logistics. He was so knowledgeable about the area. I was in constant awe at his vast knowledge for fauna, flora and wildlife. I was extremely exited about his accommodation choices and my highlight for the safari being the tented Bush lodge with a porch overlooking Kazinga Chanel, were a few meandering buffaloes and hippoes grazed just yards away. He could drive for hours and still be in position to be early and wait for you at the car. He even offered an extra that was off our itinerary when he guided us to the beautiful Kyambura gorge were we just calmed and absorbed the sights, sounds and busked in views of how nature looked like a painted portrait just in front of us.   We unexpectedly had to leave Uganda months before we were planning too, so booked with Sam very last minute. The next day he was waiting enthusiasticly for us. The trip... read more was beyond my expectation. Sam organises everything so you don't need to worry about anything. We saw everything we wanted to see and so much more! Sam is fun, professional and makes sure your trip is personal to you. He felt more like a friend than a tour guide at the end of the trip. Thanks a for making our last days in Uganda so wonderful!
