Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your Laba Africa tour guide will warmly welcome you to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. From there, you’ll be taken to your accommodation at Via Via Entebbe, a cozy guesthouse near the airport. After settling in, take some time to rest and recover from your journey. If you’re feeling up to it, you can opt for an optional excursion to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Mabamba Wetland to spot some unique wildlife.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, we’ll head to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting hour of rhino tracking, where you’ll have the chance to encounter these majestic creatures up close. From there, we’ll journey to Masindi for lunch before continuing our drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along the way! Upon arrival, check in at Ikorom Safari Lodge, a charming lodge nestled in the heart of the park.

Day 3: Safari in Murchison Falls NP
Today is all about exploring the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park. Go on morning and afternoon game drives to spot a variety of wildlife, including buffalos, elephants, giraffes, and more. Return to Fort Murchison Lodge for a well-deserved rest and dinner.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest NP
After breakfast, we’ll drive to the top of the majestic Murchison Falls to admire its beauty. Then, we’ll begin our journey to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park. The scenic drive will take us through picturesque countryside and tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge and unwind amidst the tranquility of the forest.

Day 5: Bigodi swamp tour
Start your day with a delightful breakfast before embarking on a Bigodi wetlands excursion, where you’ll encounter a diverse array of wildlife and bird species. Afterwards, we’ll journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a wide variety of wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive to spot lions, elephants, buffalos, and more, before settling in at Irungu Forest Safari Lodge for the night.

Day 6: Game drive and Boat Safari
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, followed by aNn afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. Marvel at the sight of hippos, elephants, and crocodiles as you cruise along the water. After the boat trip, you can choose to either return to the lodge for some rest or go for a late afternoon game drive before dinner.

Day 7: To Bwindi Forest NP
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before driving to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions. After a thrilling wildlife encounter, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll check in at Ride 4 a Woman for a relaxing evening.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking
Today’s the day you’ve been waiting for – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest! After breakfast, head to the ranger’s post for a briefing before an unforgettable adventure. Spend time observing these gorillas in their natural habitat before returning to Ride 4 a Woman for a well-deserved rest.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP
After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful scenery. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot buffalos, zebras, and more, before settling in at Eagles’ Nest for the night.

Day 10: Walking safari and back to Entebbe Airport
Start your day with a morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll have the chance to encounter zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife up close. After the safari, begin your journey back to Entebbe International Airport, making a stop at the Equator crossing mark for a photo opportunity and some souvenir shopping along the way.
