Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania, Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
At the start of your safari, you will be greeted by our friendly team in Arusha and transferred to Lake Manyara National Park. Embark on a thrilling full-day game drive through the park, known for its lush landscapes and diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, baboons, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the scenic surroundings, and if time permits, opt for additional activities such as a guided bike tour or a serene boat excursion on the lake. After a day of exploration, retreat to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and well-deserved rest.
Day 2: Serengeti Bound
After an early breakfast, depart for the iconic Serengeti National Park. Marvel at the vastness of the plains as you journey towards this renowned wildlife haven. En route, keep an eye out for fascinating wildlife sightings. Upon entering the Serengeti, embark on a game drive through its endless landscapes, home to the Great Migration and an abundance of predators and prey. Day 3: Exploring Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro
Rise with the sun for an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. Experience the magic of dawn on the African plains as you search for elusive predators and graceful herbivores. After the game drive, return to camp for a hearty brunch before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, soak in the scenic vistas and anticipate the wonders awaiting you at the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at your accommodation in the evening and unwind with dinner and tales of the day’s adventures.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Begin your day before dawn with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to an extraordinary array of wildlife. Marvel at the diversity of habitats within the crater, from grassy plains to forested areas and shimmering lakes. Keep your camera ready for sightings of the endangered black rhino, as well as large herds of elephants and prides of lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo-filled lake, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. After an exhilarating day of exploration, ascend from the crater and transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Day 5-6: Relaxation in Zanzibar
Indulge in the blissful tranquility of Zanzibar’s pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. Spend your days unwinding on the soft sands, swimming in the turquoise sea, or engaging in optional activities such as a guided tour of Stone Town, a spice tour, or a visit to Jozani Forest to encounter the rare red colobus monkeys. Day 7: Departure
