Introduction of the 7 Days Gorilla Tour

Ugandans are proud to be some of the most friendly people in the world and we have incredible diversity of landscapes and activities like gorilla trekking . Our 7 Day Gorilla tour will take you the best less undiscovered by tourists part of Uganda and we promise you to get the best our country has to offer. You will do a wildlife safari on the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park and meet face to face with the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and mountain gorilla trekking in the mist of Bwindi Forest.

Day 1: Arrival At Entebbe International Airport

Laba Africa Expeditions guide will be waiting for you at the airport to drive you to  Kampala and you will have a chance to go out in Kampala if you wish.

Day 2: Transfer To Kibale National Park

After breakfast, your guide will brief you fully about the safari and after drive to Kibale National park.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast and go for briefing about the chimp tracking activity. Chimpanzees are the closest cousins to humans though they are one of the most threatened primate species. Apart from chimps , other primates like Black and white Colobus Monkeys, Grey cheeked Mangabey, Red tailed monkeys, bush babies, pottos and many bird species like the yellow spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, Little greenbul, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle, black bee eater and mammals like Elephants can be seen in this walk. After, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and relax on arrival.

Day 4: Game drive and boat safari

Go for a game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes leopards and many bird species. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat safari  along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close. The shores of the channel is home many birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed storks etc.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park

Have breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi forest impenetrable national park, this journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic landscape. Arrive in the evening and then check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight and prepare for a big day on your Uganda Gorilla tour 

Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National Park

Have early morning breakfast, and after proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing you on how to behave during gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The rangers will then accompany in the Gorilla Uganda Tour to the thick rainforest to start your search for the gentle giants. It always takes 2 to 7 hours to come into contact with gorillas and the rangers will always be there to guide you.

Lodge: Bakiga lodge

Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe Airport

Today you will drive to Entebbe arriving in the evening, your guide will take you to the airport or to your hotel depending on your departure time. The hotel can be booked at an extra cost.
