About the Uganda Visa
Anyone planning a safari to Uganda should get their visa at least one month in advance. This is because Visas on arrival are no longer issued to any guests entering the country, as they previously were.
Uganda Visa: Before traveling to Uganda for any reason, including tourism, study, business, family visits, holidays, or even diplomatic affairs, a foreigner should ensure they acquire a Uganda Visa. A visa is an official document that allows visitors from other countries to enter a specific foreign country legally for the previously mentioned reasons; for a provided period. Uganda is one of these countries. Located in the East African region of Africa, Uganda is a well-known African travel destination, with unique features such as national parks attracting more travelers every year.
Anyone planning a safari to Uganda should get their visa at least one month in advance. This is because Visas on arrival are no longer issued to any guests entering the country, as they previously were.
Previously, visas were obtained at the border upon entry, but the Ugandan government recently implemented an online visa application system. To avoid disappointment when planning a trip to Uganda for any reason, apply for your visa well in advance and ensure it is issued and approved before you leave.
