The Nyungwe Forest National Park is home to around 322 different bird species. The Albertine Rift Valley is home to 27 of these species. Best time to go to Nyungwe Forest National Park

The long dry season, which lasts from June to September, and the short dry season, which lasts from mid-December to mid-February, are the finest months to visit Nyungwe. Because the brief season comes between the two rainy seasons, expect occasional precipitation.
