Safari Overview
5 days Rwenzori hike and Queen Elizabeth safari will start in Kampala and during the tour you will visit Mount Rwenzori for a short hiking excursion and also visit Queen Elizabeth national park for a game drive and boat ride on the Kazinga channel and the tour will end in Kampala.
5 days Rwenzori Hike and Queen Elizabeth Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kasese
You will start the safari with pick up from Kampala and your guide will welcome you for the safari, brief you shortly about the tour and you will be driven to Kasese where you will spend the first night of the safari
Day 2: transfer to Rwenzori park and hike to Nyabitaba camp
After breakfast early at the hotel in Kasese, you will be driven to Nyakalengija to start the hike in Rwenzori mountains national park. You will hike from Nyakalengija to Nyabitaba camp which takes about 6 to 7 hours and the night will be spent at Nyabitaba camp.
Day 3: Nyabitaba camp to Nyakalengija camp and drive to Kasese
You will start the hike from Nyabitaba camp and return to Nyakalengija camp on this day and your guide will pick you up and you will be driven to the hotel in Kasese where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 4; drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
Your breakfast will be served early at the hotel in Kasese and after check out you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park for an exciting wildlife experience searching for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, hippos, antelopes and many others. You will have lunch at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park and after lunch engage in an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel.
Day 5; morning game drive and transfer to Kampala
After breakfast at the lodge, you will engage in a short game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park and your guide will drive you back to Kampala where you will be dropped off which will bring the 5 days Rwenzori hike and Queen Elizabeth safari to an end.
