5 Days Wildlife Safari in Kenya Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Park
Your pick-up will be arranged from the airport or your Nairobi hotel, and you will be briefed by our safari guide along the way. Later, depart for Masai Mara with the first stop at the view point for the escarpment wall. Later, descend the escarpment and continue to Narok for an early lunch. Around 15:00pm, you arrive at the reserved place of residence, most probably Miti Mingi Eco Camp. Check into the lodge and then go on an evening game drive until the sun goes down. Dinner and sleeping at the camp for the first night of your 5 Days Wildlife Safari in Kenya.
Day 2: Explore Masai Mara on a game drive
After breakfast at the camp, you depart for a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara reserve with your packed lunch. The Maasai Mara has the most different species, and you will be lucky to see hundreds of them. The game drive to the Masai River is required, and if it is migration time, you will see it; otherwise, you will see crocodiles and hippos at the river. After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with the game drive until around 17:00hrs. Leave the park for at least two hours of optional fun. Relax at the cam and go for a nature walk with Maasai warriors, or go to the Maasai Village. Dinner and sleeping at the camp.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru
Wake up in the morning and then drive through the Maasai Mara, returning to the camp for a full breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru, stopping for lunch en route with breath-taking views of Mount Longonot, and continuing to Nakuru town in the evening to check into your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru game drive and Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will be driven to Nakuru national Park, which is known for its endangered wildlife such as rhinos, flamingos, and many others. The big five will be spotted during the game drive. After the adventure, depart for Naivasha, stopping for lunch along the way. When you arrive in Naivasha, you will check into your hotel and then either relax for the evening or visit the Naivasha Floral Farm.
Day 5: Travel from Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
On the last number of your 5 Days Wildlife Safari in Kenya, enjoy an early breakfast before going on a morning game drive to see the various wildlife species in the park. The wildlife in the park can be seen by safari vehicle, on foot, or even by cycling around the 11km circumference of the park. Following the experience, you will be driven back with a stopover for lunch to Nairobi or the airport for your flight back or a hotel for an overnight stay chartered by yourself.
