6 Days Best of Tanzania Safari TourAfter breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s largest parks, located in the Manyara region. It is distinguished by the large herds of elephants and tree climbing lions that call it home, as well as the fascinating baobab trees, which are revered by some local cultures for their mythical powers. The Tarangire River runs through the park all year and is the animals’ only source of water during the dry season. Overnight stay in the park at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, armed with a picnic lunch. En route, you will enjoy a game drive. The Serengeti is well-known for its incredible wildlife, breath-taking scenery, and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. Witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters during this frenzy of territorial conquests and mating. Before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage resumes, the wildebeest will give birth to over 8,000 calves per day. Check in your reserved lodge later for relaxation and dinner, plus overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive through the wilderness, following the Great Migration trails. Our knowledgeable driver tour guide will share interesting facts about this world-renowned event, which has elevated Tanzania to the top safari destination in Africa.

6 Days Best of Tanzania Safari TourThe Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to approximately 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle, which accompany the wildebeest on their quest for new grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of millions of hooves pounding the open plains. This is exactly how you imagined Africa to be! Later, drive back to your reserved lodge later for relaxation and dinner, plus overnight stay.

Day 5: Breakfast and move to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Tanzania’s crater highlands, located west of Arusha. The area is named after the world’s largest caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. Have lunch and embark on a game drive in the park. The breath-taking landscape of Ngorongoro, with its vast expanses of highland plains and concentration of wildlife, makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on the planet. Day 6: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, then back to Arusha

On the last day of your 6 Days Best of Tanzania Safari Tour, enjoy breakfast. The lake itself takes up two-thirds of the park, and the Great Rift Valley serves as a beautiful backdrop.

The Manyara is home to over 400 bird species, including thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their annual migration, as well as other large waterbirds like pelicans, cormorants, and storks. Have lunch in the park and in the afternoon, you will return to Arusha and be dropped off at your hotel or airport. This will mark the end of your 6 Days Best of Tanzania Safari Tour.
