During this tour, you will have the chance to not only visit all the parks of the northern safari circuit of Tanzania (including 3 nights in the Serengeti) but also have fascinating cultural experiences in Lake Eyasi with the Hadzabe tribe.
Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Embark on your adventure as we pick you up from your hotel at 8 am and head to Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees and diverse wildlife, including the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, Tarangire offers an unforgettable safari experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch with stunning views of the river and wildlife before continuing to your accommodation.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Marvel at the lush acacia forest, diverse wildlife, and the picturesque lake, home to flamingos and hippos. Optional activities like a bike tour or boat excursion offer additional exploration opportunities. Return to camp for dinner.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Experience the awe-inspiring Serengeti as we depart early for the most famous national park in the world. Witness the endless plains and abundant wildlife, including the renowned great migration of wildebeests and zebras. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, and other predators as you explore this iconic landscape.
Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy flexible days in the Serengeti tailored to your preferences. Your guide will discuss options for game drives and activities, allowing you to make the most of your time in this extraordinary wilderness.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, followed by brunch at the camp. Then, journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “8th Wonder of the Natural World.” Witness diverse wildlife in this unique ecosystem, including the rare black rhino, as you explore the crater floor. Enjoy a sundowner before retiring for the evening.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Embark on an early morning descent into the crater for a memorable wildlife viewing experience. After a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake, continue your exploration with a short game drive before ascending the crater and heading towards Lake Eyasi.
Day 8: Lake Eyasi and the Hadzabe
Wake up before sunrise for a special encounter with the Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s last true nomadic groups. Join them in their daily activities, whether hunting with the men or gathering fruits with the women. Capture unforgettable moments in this unique cultural experience. Visit Lake Eyasi before returning to Arusha, concluding your soul-stirring Tanzanian safari.
