Permits and Regulations: To participate in activities such as chimpanzee trekking, permits are required and can be obtained from the Uganda Wildlife Authority or authorized tour operators. Chimpanzee trekking permits in Kibale Forest National Park are priced at 200 USD for foreign non-residents, 150 USD for foreign residents, and 150,000 UGX for East African citizens per person.

Experienced local guides are available to lead forest walks and birdwatching walks, scheduled at 7.30am and 3pm every day, with a cost of USh25,000 per person for each activity. Additionally, you have the opportunity to visit a fair-trade tea factory, with guided tours available at 9am and 2pm for USh25,000 per person.
