Bonobos only can be encountered on a Dr Congo Tour are our close relatives, astoundingly share 98.7 percent of our genetic makeup. These captivating beings, approximately two-thirds our stature, sport a luxuriant coat of dark hair. Noteworthy are their captivating ebony faces adorned with luscious red lips. Moreover, bonobos possess unique attributes, including two or three webbed toes, a charming tuft at the tip of their tail, and long, elegantly parted hair. Unlike their close counterparts, the common chimpanzees, bonobos do not showcase any subdivisions within their species. Lola ya banobo is one of the interesting things to do in DR Congo

This 1-Day Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary Tour will take you to a special reserve outside Kinshasa to meet these beautiful primates. Having been founded by Claudine Andre in 1994, Lola ya Bonobo is the only sanctuary for orphaned bonobos primates in the world.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning and drive you about 2 hours away to the Lola Y’a Banobos were you will be briefed and taken to see the Banobos. You will see the interacting and grooming each other. The experience is so amazing and you will be humbled to see how close these primates are to us.

After the visit , you will go for a local meal in the restaurant nearby before setting off back to Kinshasa. You will arrive in the evening and that will mark the end of your 1 day lola y’a Banobo tour from Kinshasa.
