This 11 days Rwenzori hike and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari will start and end in Kampala. During the safari you will engage in a hike on Mount Rwenzori and also take part in a safari in Queen Elizabeth national park to search for various wildlife species.

Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe international airport and welcome you for the safari and you will proceed to the hotel in Entebbe where you will spend the night.
You will have breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe and check out ahead of the drive to Kasese where you will spend the night as you prepare for the hike on Mount Rwenzori the next day.
After driving from Kasese, you will start the hike from Nyakalengija to Nyabitaba camp for about 6 to 7 hours passing through farmland, forest and during the hike you will see colobus monkeys, birds such as the Rwenzori turaco and spend the night at Nyabitaba camp.
You will start the hike from Nyabitaba camp for 7 to 8 hours to John Matte camp following a trail through forest, the Kurt Shafer bridge, moss covered rocks, giant heather, lobelia and groundsel. You will also enjoy views of Mount Stanley and Mount Speke and spend the night at John Matte camp.
You will have breakfast and start the hike on this day for about 4 to 5 hours from John Matte camp to Bujuku camp following the trail along the Bujuku river into the lower bog where you will see giant lobelias, continue into the upper bog to Lake Bujuku where you will see Mount Baker and Mount Stanley and the night will be spent at Bujuku camp for acclimatization.
You will hike from Bujuku camp to Kitandara camp for about 5 to 6 hours following a trail passing through bog, steep slopes and also the forest of Groundsel Gully. The trail will continue to Elena camp through the Scott-Elliot where you will see Lake Bujuku and Mount Speke. You will also hike through the alpine zone and the Kitandara lakes and spend the night at Kitandara camp.
After breakfast at the Kitandara camp you will prepare for a hike to Guy Yeoman camp which takes about 6 to 7 hours. the trail will pass through the fresh field pass and you will ascend to Mount Baker and be able to view Mount Stanley and Congo, hike through the alpine zone, descend through steep rocks and spend the night at Guy Yeoman camp.
From Guy Yeoman camp you will hike to Nyakalengija camp which takes about 7 to 8 hours through Kichuchu and the Mubuku river and bamboo forest and continue to Nyabitaba before proceeding to Nyakalengija camp in the evening. You will spend the night in a hotel in Kasese.
After breakfast at the hotel in Kasese, you will start the drive to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will engage in game drive and search the savannah plains for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, hippos, antelopes and many others.
You will have breakfast at the lodge and go for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park to search for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, waterbucks, impalas, topi, warthogs and many others. You will also engage in a boat ride on Kazinga channel and see wildlife and bird species by the shores and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
You will have breakfast at the hotel in Kasese and after check out your guide will drive you to Kampala where you will be dropped off which will bring the tour to an end.
